Dr Ivana Cvijović-Alagić, Associate Research Professor. She obtained her B.Sc. (2003), M.Sc. (2006), and Ph.D. (2013) degree at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade. Her scientific and research work is focused on the development of the titanium-based alloys for biomedical applications; metal matrix composite materials and intermetallic alloys for high-temperature applications; severe plastic deformation (SPD) process parameters effects on the properties of the ultrafine-grained (UFG) and nanocrystalline metals and alloys; microstructural characterization and stereological analysis; material mechanical and tribological properties; corrosion behavior and oxidation resistance of metallic materials; metallic materials fracture mechanics and fractography; as well as mathematical modeling of the materials ductile fracture. As an author, she published 2 chapters in international scientific books, 48 scientific papers in international SCI-indexed peer-reviewed scientific journals, 12 scientific papers in domestic scientific journals (in English), and numerous papers in the international conference proceedings. Her publications are cited more than 520 times in international SCI-indexed peer-reviewed scientific journals (h-index 12). As a research team member, she participated in the realization of 6 national fundamental research projects, 3 international projects of bilateral scientific and technological cooperation, 1 innovation project of national interest, as well as 1 project financially supported by The Balkan Environmental Association (B.EN.A). Dr. Cvijović-Alagić is a member of Organizing and International Scientific Committees of a significant number of the scientific conferences, invited Reviewer involved in reviewing process of scientific papers submitted to several highly respected international SCI-indexed scientific journals, and member of the Doctoral Dissertation Commission for several Ph.D. candidates at the University of Belgrade and Supervisor/Mentor of Ph.D. student and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia scholarship holder.
