Dr Jelena Luković

Dr. Jelena Luković. Research Associate. She received her Diploma in Chemical Engineering in 2010 at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy Faculty, University of Belgrade, Serbia. Her Ph.D. dissertation was performed jointly at the Materials Science Laboratory, Institute of Nuclear Sciences “Vinča”, University of Belgrade, Serbia, and at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy Faculty, University of Belgrade, Serbia, where it was defended in 2018. Since 2016 she is part of the Laboratory for Theoretical Investigation of Materials (L-TIM) at the Center for Synthesis, Processing, and Characterisation for Application in Extreme Conditions (CEXTREME LAB). Her main research interests are in a field of theoretical and experimental chemistry and nanomaterials, where she is involved in the research of synthesis and characterization of these materials, with a special interest in refractory materials, and DFT calculations. She is trained to operate instruments for X-ray powder diffraction analysis. She has published 16 papers, out of which 14 are papers from the SCI journals list, cited 46 times (without self-citations), and she has taken part in 18 international and domestic conferences.
