Dr Jelena Stasic, Full Research Professor / Principal Research Fellow. Received her BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees (2011) at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade. Works in the field of laser interaction with materials (laser modification of materials, laser sintering/melting, laser-based synthesis of nanoparticles), and materials science.

Dr. Stasic is the co-author of over 90 scientific publications, including one prominent national monograph and around 60 articles in the SCI list journals. Her papers are cited over 600 times (h-index 15).Dr. Stasic is the principal investigator on the project financed by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia within the program PRISMA (2023-2026). She was the leader of the project within the IAEA CRP project, and bilateral project with China. Also, she is a participant in 3 fundamental research projects, 2 bilateral projects (with China and Belarus), 2 international COST actions, and 1 project within the IAEA CRP project.

Dr. Stasic has successful cooperation with several international scientific institutions. She is a member of the scientific committee of the international conference Photonica, and a reviewer in a number of international journals.
